Vancouver Titans starting center and former Olympian, Richard Anderson, has sustained a season ending knee injury and will miss the remainder of the Titans inaugural season. Anderson tore his ACL during the Titans’ recent game vs. the Snohomish Explosion, and has undergone surgery to repair damage to his knee. “Richard brings so many great things to a team that losing him this close to the playoffs will have a definite impact. However, our first concern and ultimate priority is his health, and we will support him as he rehabilitates and returns to form” said Head Coach and General Manager David Petroziello. The Titans’ final home game takes place Monday, June 29 at the Langley Events Centre versus the Edmonton Energy. Tip-off is set for 7:15 p.m. For more information on the Titans please visit www.vancouvertitans.com. |
