Titans Winning Streak Snapped by Seattle PDF Print E-mail

Despite starting strong, the Vancouver Titans spent most of Friday night playing catch-up against the visiting Seattle Mountaineers. The Titans held Seattle scoreless for the first four minutes and took an early 13-point lead, but ended up on the losing end of a 117-101 score.

Seattle staged a strong run of its own and took a 4-point lead before the end of the first quarter. From there on out, the two teams kept pace, but the Mountaineers would never relinquish their lead.

Seattle’s first half surge was led by guard, Jamal Miller, who went 7 for 10 from three-point land in the first half. Miller finished the game with 29 points to lead all scorers.

For the Titans, Kyle Keyes and Jessan Gray had strong showings with 26 points and 21 points respectively.
